We’re hiring a <strong>Requirements Management Process Analyst</strong> to help our government customer improve how capability gaps and operational needs are identified, evaluated, documented, prioritized, and tracked.</p>

<p>The ideal candidate has experience with <strong>requirements gathering, business process analysis, stakeholder engagement, and technical documentation</strong>. You’ll help turn stakeholder input into clear requirements, user stories, workflow improvements, and briefing materials while working with Government leaders, technical teams, and business professionals.</p>
<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<p>As a <strong>Requirements Management Process Analyst</strong> at AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will have the opportunity to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Support the Government in executing and continuously improving a <strong>streamlined requirements management process</strong> for identifying, assessing, validating, prioritizing, and tracking capability gaps and operational needs.</li>
<li>Provide <strong>requirements engineering and business process analysis</strong> support to evaluate, document, and improve requirements workflows.</li>
<li>Review requirements processes, artifacts, and decision pathways for <strong>completeness, consistency, usability, traceability, and alignment</strong> with mission and stakeholder needs.</li>
<li>Analyze current- and future-state processes related to capability-gap management, enterprise tracking, governance, and requirements documentation, and recommend practical improvements.</li>
<li>Support enterprise gap intake, tracking, prioritization, and routing processes, including solutions involving acquisition, innovation, research and development, training, and other non-materiel approaches.</li>
<li>Facilitate <strong>stakeholder interviews, working sessions, demonstrations, and feedback sessions</strong> to identify pain points, process inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve decision support.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain <strong>workflow maps, standard operating procedures, user stories, technical documentation, briefing materials, training materials, and other process artifacts</strong>.</li>
<li>Support requirements governance by documenting roles, responsibilities, review pathways, action items, decisions, and process changes.</li>
<li>Assist with defining future-state <strong>automation, collaboration tools, dashboards, reporting, data structures, and workflow capabilities</strong> that improve requirements visibility, traceability, and lifecycle management.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>Active Top Secret or CBP Background Investigation</strong>, or the ability to obtain and maintain the required Government clearance.</li>
<li><strong>U.S. citizenship</strong> required for purposes of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. security clearance.</li>
<li><strong>Bachelor’s degree</strong> in business, communications, information systems, public administration, political science, or a related field, with <strong>2-4 years of related experience</strong>.</li>
<li>Experience supporting <strong>DHS or another federal Government customer</strong>.</li>
<li>Experience with <strong>requirements gathering, business process analysis, user-story development, solution design, or Agile delivery</strong>.</li>
<li>Experience <strong>facilitating stakeholder engagements</strong> and translating business needs into clear requirements, documentation, or workflow improvements.</li>
<li>Experience developing <strong>briefings, standard operating procedures, user guides, training materials, or technical documentation</strong>.</li>
<li>Familiarity with <strong>Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, or similar collaboration and workflow tools</strong>.</li>
<li>Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple assignments.</li>

<h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $120,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
