This role manages large-scale client and internal projects from scope definition through delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution and high-quality outcomes. The Senior Manager translates business and technical requirements into scalable solutions that drive operational efficiency, client value, and measurable financial impact. Reporting to a leader within Business Solutions, this role combines program leadership, technical oversight, and client engagement to advance Ryan’s digital transformation and innovation execution.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Client:</b></p><ul><li><p>Manages internal and external enterprise tax technology and software implementation projects to completion.</p></li><li><p>Defines project scope, tasks, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while maintaining disciplined financial oversight.</p></li><li><p>Oversees functional and technical direction of projects, including detailed requirements analysis, process design, configuration, system integration, testing, deployment, and client onboarding.</p></li><li><p>Supports implementation of proprietary data products and enterprise tax automation platforms within the assigned practice or division.</p></li><li><p>Establishes processes to monitor adherence to project timelines and budgets and communicates variances proactively.</p></li><li><p>Prepares and reviews client deliverables, documentation, and engagement materials to ensure quality and accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Maintains master project resource plans and supports billing, forecasting, and financial tracking activities.</p></li><li><p>Maintains strong client relationships, responds to inquiries, and participates in proposals, engagement agreements, and requirements.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education and Experience:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 7-10 years of experience leading enterprise software implementations, tax technology projects, or digital transformation initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Experience in consulting, implementation, enterprise systems, data management, process improvement, or tax-related environments preferred.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-workstream engagements in a client-facing environment.</p></li></ul><p><b><span>Computer Skills:</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working with enterprise systems, databases, reporting tools, project management platforms, or business applications.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with project management tools and collaboration platforms preferred.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Required intra-community transactions.</span></li><li><span>Experience designing and implementing tax technology solutions supporting VAT determination, compliance, e-invoicing, real-time reporting, and digital tax mandates.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Certificates and Licenses:</span></b></p><ul><li><p>Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum certifications, Lean/Six Sigma, CPA, or other relevant industry credentials are preferred.</p></li><li><p>Valid driver’s license may be required, depending on role assignment.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Supervisory Responsibilities:</span></b></p><p>This position may directly supervise team members and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Firm policies and applicable laws.</p><p></p><p><b>Compensation Pay Transparency:</b></p><ul><li>For certain California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $158,000.00 - $211,750.00</li><li>For other California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $144,500.00 - $194,150.00</li><li>For Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $138,000.00 - $185,350.00</li><li>For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $144,500.00 - $194,150.00</li><li>For other Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this
