PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:<div><ul><li>Multi-skilled electrical mechanical technician with advanced competency troubleshooting and supporting production equipment</li><li>Trained on all electrical hazards and is an advocate for our electrical safety programs</li><li>Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with issues of intermediate complexity in advanced electrical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.)</li><li>Advanced knowledge of internal networks and MES equipment integration</li><li>Understands the National Electrical Code (NFPA 79) to enforce code that applies to all electrical installations</li><li>Advanced usability of volt-ohm-millimeters (VOM), vacuum tube volt ohmmeters (VTVM), field effect transistor volt-ohm-millimeters (FETVOM) and digital multimeters to measure DC current, DC voltage, AC voltage and resistance</li><li>Advanced understanding and demonstration of Drive Systems, Lineal Systems, Actuating and Clamping Systems</li><li>Advanced understand of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, schematics, and the operation of all components</li><li>Advanced knowledge and use of hand tools and machine shop equipment, the proper use of all test equipment used to perform all Multi-trade repairs of production equipment as well as dust collection and material handling equipment (pallet lifts and fork trucks).</li><li>Evaluate equipment for any repairs, enhancements, or upgrades and complete work as needed</li><li>Complete preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled, and document finished work</li><li>Machine implementation including, rigging, leveling, facilities (air, hydraulics, dust collection and safety) along with testing and modifying as needed to prepare machine for production</li><li>Fabrication and installation of all needed fixturing, guarding and any machine parts needed. This included one or more of the following: design, layout, sheet metal work, welding, machine shop work, carpentry and painting</li><li>Repair of pneumatic drills and screw guns, routers, saw motors and bearing assemblies for lineal slides and spindles</li><li>Assist in the deployment of TPM objectives</li><li>Multi-skilled technician providing focused competency maintenance support, mechanically proficient and demonstrated technical expertise in a specific specialized maintenance function</li><li>Ability to train fundamentals of metal fabrication; Welding, Manual Mill and Lathe, Sheet Metal Fabrication</li><li>Understand advanced and complex functions of production CNC machining equipment.</li><li>Able to reengineer equipment for more efficiency and reliability</li><li>Demonstrate technical expertise/knowledge and utilize effective root cause analysis methods</li><li>Continuing job-related education is required</li><li>Technical Expert, Technical Lead, Subject Matter Expert</li></ul>QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:<div><ul><li>2-year technical degree or equivalent past work experience</li><li>10 Years experience in related fields strongly preferred</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems related to PLC and electromechanical aspects of manufacturing equipment</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems and analytical problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot under pressure on all lines of production and be able to prioritize the repairs</li><li>Ability to read prints including mechanical, fluid power, electrical, and building prints</li><li>Ability to properly use testing equipment including (electrical, mechanical and fluid power)</li><li>Strong knowledge of PLC ‘s and electrical principles</li><li>Broad knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics</li><li>Knowledge of plumbing, machine piping, HVAC and central dust collection</li><li>Knowledge and use of hand, power, shop tools and equipment associated with the position</li><li>Knowledge of safety practices such as lockout/tagout and proper use of PPE</li><li>Be familiar with Panel building and machine building practices and techniques</li><li>Multi-skilled technician satisfied by demonstrated technical expertise in advanced maintenance functions</li><li>Ability to manage vital maintenance functions to maximize corporate assets</li><li>Be able to support production by yourself and be self-motivated</li><li>Be able to work alone as well as in a team environment</li><li>Strong Communication skills, time management, organizational and prioritization skills</li><li>Possess excellent analytical skills, data interpretation</li></ul></div></div>PAY RANGE:$35.75 - $44.64&#xa;&#xa;CULTURE AND BENEFITS:At Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
