<h2>Overview</h2>
<p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.</p>
<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Serve as a key member of a small, tight-knit team supporting a Senior Executive body for technology protection-related matters.</li>
<li>Provide expertise and new ideas to team members and senior Department of War (DoW) leaders in developing and implementing updated strategies to protect critical technology data.</li>
<li>Support high-ranking DoW Senior Executives and interact with other DoW Senior Executives, Flag/General Officers, and their support staffs.</li>
<li>Analyze and provide recommendations on issues dealing with the full spectrum of DoW technology protection-related matters, from research through capability deployment/employment.</li>
<li>Coordinate with technology protection community representatives on issues spanning the full capability lifecycle.</li>
<li>Compare, analyze and evaluate the relative merits of program activities and alternatives.</li>
<li>Prepare reports and briefs, summarizing formal events and commentary, requirements, deficiencies, and investments for various programs, systems, and activities.</li>
<li>Provide project management and task management expertise to team workflows and topics that are addressed by the Executive body.</li>

<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area with 5-10 years of experience.</li>
<li>Active TS/SCI clearance, with a willingness to submit to a polygraph.</li>
<li>U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance.</li>
<li>Experience with or real-world exposure to a technology protection-related field or topic, i.e. research security, economic security, cybersecurity, SCRM, industrial base protection, etc.</li>
<li>Experience with DoW or federal government bureaucratic processes.</li>
<li>Emerging leader with a bias for action and preference for working collaboratively on small, mission-oriented teams.</li>
<li>Experience with problem framing on complex technical issues.</li>
<li>Experience with project management processes and tools</li>
<li>Experience or interest in leveraging AI, preferably with a working knowledge of a relevant programming language (i.e., Python, R, Ruby, Rust, Julia, etc.).</li>
<li>Experience in effectively prioritizing personal workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.</li>
<li>Proficiency with MS Office Suite and other desktop applications.</li>

<h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $140,000.00/Yr. - USD $180,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
