About This Role
<p>Purolite, an Ecolab company and global leader in resin-based separation and purification technologies, is looking for an <b>Accountant </b>to join our Finance team in Victoria, Brasov.</p><br /><p>In this role, you'll support the company's accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and efficient day-to-day financial operations.</p><br /><p>Join us in supporting industries like pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and life sciences with technologies that help make the world cleaner, safer, and healthier.</p><br /><p><b>What You Will Do: </b></p><ul><li>Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger</li><li>Prepare reconciliations of general ledger account balances, identifying and resolving reconciling items</li><li>Update various reports with current month-end information (discretionary spend, intercompany detail, allocation entry)</li><li>Manage sales invoicing activities, including e-Invoice processing and reporting</li><li>Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records, ensuring timely reconciliations and payments</li><li>Support month-end closing activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting</li><li>Monitor and record provisions, prepaid expenses, and other accounting transactions</li><li>Prepare statutory reports, tax filings, and information required by local authorities</li><li>Prepare basic financial reports</li><li>Maintain customer master data and ensure accuracy within the ERP system</li><li>Support internal and external audits while ensuring proper documentation and compliance</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide financial information and analysis as needed</li><li>Stay up to date with accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance</li></ul><br /><p><b>What you'll need:</b></p><ul><li>University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance</li><li>Good knowledge of Romanian accounting and tax legislation</li><li>Experience working with ERP systems</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills</li><li>English proficiency</li><li>Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset</li><li>Result oriented, proactive, and possess a high level of integrity</li></ul><br /><p><b>Nice to have:</b></p><ul><li>ACCA, CECCAR, or other relevant professional qualifications</li><li>Power BI knowledge and experience</li></ul><br /><p><b>What's in it for you:</b></p><ul><li>The opportunity to take on some of the world's most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments</li><li>The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth</li><li>The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our best</li></ul>
