<p><b>Process Engineer</b></p><p>📍 <b>Craiova (Podari), Romania </b></p><p></p><p>At <b>Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company</b>, we help customers improve operational performance and sustainability through innovative water and process management solutions.</p><p></p><p>We are currently looking for a <b>Process Engineer</b> to join our team at a customer site in <b>Podari, Craiova</b>. In this role, you will support and optimize wastewater treatment operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance. Working closely with both customer and Ecolab teams, you will play a key role in driving process improvements, supporting operational excellence, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency while maintaining compliance with environmental and safety standards.</p><p></p><p><b>What You Will Do:</b></p><ul><li>Provide support to the operating team.</li><li>Provide training, technical and analytical advice to internal and external stakeholders on the physical, biological, and chemical processes to maximize wastewater process operation efficiency and meet permit requirements.</li><li>Monitor and analyze process lab data, energy, and chemical usage data.</li><li>Troubleshoot and/or review wastewater treatment processes and facility design.</li><li>Evaluate, initiate, and revise process technologies.</li><li>Ensure the fulfillment of operating standards.</li><li>Supervise the implementation of solutions for TCO reduction.</li><li>Work with equipment in the best conditions.</li><li>Meet the annual requirements of incident prevention and analysis indicators in accordance with the agreed targets.</li><li>Support the safety training for the team, at least monthly, to promote safe behavior and activities as important elements in incident prevention.</li><li>100% alignment with Ecolab policies/procedures at global/European level in the field of SH&E</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering</li><li>2 years of experience in a chemical, food, or related manufacturing environment</li><li>Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>5 years of experience in a chemical, food, or related manufacturing environment</li><li>Master's Degree in an Chemical Engineering discipline</li><li>World Class manufacturing and TPM experience</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What's in It for You</b></p><ul><li>The opportunity to work on meaningful projects that support sustainable water management and operational excellence.</li><li>Exposure to advanced wastewater treatment technologies and industry-leading expertise.</li><li>A culture that prioritizes safety, continuous learning, and professional development.</li><li>The chance to collaborate closely with customers and make a visible impact on plant performance.</li><li>Career growth opportunities within a global organization committed to innovation and sustainability.</li></ul>
