The person in this position is responsible for overseeing of the production line leaders and that the floor operates in a productive manner. The Floor Lead is also responsible for directing and training all new Line Leads in the production processes, safety and Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs).<p>Essential Functions:</p><br /><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Supervise and train all Line Leads in the production process </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Serve as a backup to the Production Supervisor </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Work in conjunction with the Quality Department for positive production results </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Conduct inspection of the product every hour or more frequently if the job is complex or critical in its design or use </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Keep abreast of the rates of the jobs running on the production line </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Responsible for work packets being filled out correctly, accurately, and on time </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Maintain a professional demeanor and performance in supervision of staff </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Communicate with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Perform all computer functions in Warehouse Management System (WMS) to include: delete and complete orders, adjust LPN’s, verify quantities produced, print and adjust PTS reports, and verify quantities produced </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Process information and merchandise through computer system </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Assist the Line Leads with Item completion, ordering to the line, opening the shift, closing the shift, and reclaim </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Assist in balancing Line Lead production hours, as well as verification of all analytical data at end of shift </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Identifies equipment needs and set up lines accordingly </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Coordinate manpower requirements by increasing or decreasing personnel and overtime to meet changing conditions </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Analyze and resolves work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Perform hourly checks during shift to maintain efficiencies </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Mentor and develop line leads, and share expertise with others </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Responsible for enforcing and obtaining all aspects of the line lead function </span></li><li><span style="color:#000000">Assist the Line Leads in
