<p><strong>Tradesmen International</strong> is immediately hiring experienced <strong>Pump Mechanics </strong>for projects located in or around <strong>Dallas, NC</strong>. This is a first shift opportunity and the <strong>pay rate is $26-$30/hour</strong> based on experience and skill level. <p><strong><u>Job Scope:</u></strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Diagnose mechanical failures on industrial pumps and rotating equipment</li>
<li>Inspect, disassemble, clean, rebuild, and reassemble pumps and related equipment</li>
<li>Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and complete pump overhauls</li>
<li>Install, align, and commission new pumping equipment</li>
<li>Read and interpret equipment drawings, manuals, and repair documentation</li>
<li>Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate service records</li>
<li>Recommend repair options and replacement parts</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment</li>
<li>Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members</li>
<li>Assist with field service assignments as needed</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Requirements:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED </li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing industrial pumps or rotating equipment</li>
<li>Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills</li>
<li>Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and shop equipment</li>
<li>Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>
<li>Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly</li>
<li>Stand, kneel, bend, crouch, and climb throughout the workday</li>
<li>Work safely in shop and industrial plant environments</li>
<li>Comfortable working around machinery, noise, heat, cold, and dusty conditions</li>
<li>Ability to safely operate forklifts (training provided if needed)</li>
</ul>

<li>Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) Pumps</li>
<li>Positive Displacement Pumps</li>
<li>Rotary Lobe Pumps</li>
<li>Gear Pumps</li>
<li>Vacuum Pumps</li>
<li>Mechanical Seal and Bearing Installation</li>
<li>Laser Alignment Equipment</li>
<li>Vibration Analysis and Predictive Maintenance</li>
<li>Industrial Maintenance, Millwright, or Rotating Equipment Repair</li>
</ul>
