<p>We are seeking a <strong>Personnel Security Specialist</strong> to support sensitive government and industrial security programs. This role is ideal for a security professional with strong experience in personnel security administration, SCI/SAP processes, and government security systems such as DISS and Scattered Castles.</p>

<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<p>As a Personnel Security Specialist, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Administer personnel security programs in support of DoW and industrial security requirements, ensuring compliance with government and company policies and procedures</li>
<li>Track and maintain personnel security data, including:
<ul>
<li>clearance status</li>
<li>SAP access</li>
<li>security training records</li>
<li>personnel information files (PIFs)</li>
<li>visit authorization requests/certifications</li>
</ul></li>
<li>Support government security teams with:
<ul>
<li>Program Access Request (PAR) processing</li>
<li>SCI nominations</li>
<li>indoctrinations</li>
<li>debriefings</li>
<li>related personnel security actions</li>
</ul></li>
<li>Review, process, and track PAR packages and other personnel security actions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance</li>
<li>Make initial eligibility determinations using DISS, Scattered Castles, and other personnel security tools, and provide recommendations supporting government access decisions</li>
<li>Maintain accurate personnel security records, questionnaires, PIAs, debrief documentation, and other access-related files in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Conduct annual personnel security reviews and support corrective actions to maintain compliance</li>
<li>Develop, update, and maintain Personnel Security SOPs and related process documentation</li>
<li>Provide personnel security guidance, onboarding/orientation support, refresher training, and briefings to employees, managers, and program personnel</li>
<li>Serve as a liaison with DoW, IC, and customer security offices on personnel security matters</li>
<li>Manage access rosters, prepare reports for government leadership, and support reporting related to:
<ul>
<li>adverse information</li>
<li>foreign travel</li>
<li>continuous evaluation requirements</li>
</ul></li>
<li>Resolve personnel security issues, discrepancies, and administrative actions in a timely and professional manner</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma required;Bachelor’s degree preferred</li>
<li><strong>5+ years of relevant DoW or Intelligence Community security experience</strong>, with a strong focus on <strong>personnel security</strong></li>
<li>Hands-on experience with:
<ul>
<li><strong>PAR processing</strong></li>
<li><strong>SCI nomination packages</strong></li>
<li>indoctrinations and debriefings</li>
<li>personnel security record maintenance</li>
</ul></li>
<li>Knowledge of <strong>DoW, DoN, and/or IC SCI and SAP </strong>personnel security processes</li>
<li>Experience using <strong>DISS</strong>, <strong>Scattered Castles</strong>, and other government personnel security systems/databases</li>
<li><strong>Active Top Secret clearance</strong> with <strong>SCI eligibility</strong></li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint</li>

<h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $85,000.00/Yr. - USD $105,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
