You’ll build valuable project management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills while learning to work both independently and as part of a team.</p><br /><p><b>Program structure:</b></p><ul><li><b>Schedule: </b>Part-time (15-20 hours/week) during the academic year and full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer.</li><li><b>Location:</b> Saukville, WI</li><li><b>Start Date: </b>May 2027</li><li><b>Duration: </b>Year-round internship</li></ul><p><br /><b><span style="font-size:inherit">What we&#39;re looking for:</span></b></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Strong verbal and written communication skills</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Ability to succeed in a team environment.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Ability to handle multiple tasks.</span></li></ul><br /><p><span style="color:#494949"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">Preferred experience:</span></b></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Advanced Excel and analyst skills.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">AutoCAD experience.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Exposure to Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Tools.</span></li></ul><br /><p><b>What you&#39;ll focus on:</b></p><ul><li>Partner with the Maintenance Mechanical Engineer on hands-on engineering projects throughout the processing plant.</li><li>Support machine design and equipment upgrades, including part design and plant layout improvements.</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing plant operations, safety, and efficiency.</li><li>Incorporate safety and environmental considerations into equipment and process designs.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to support projects from design through implementation.</li></ul><br /><p><b>What Sets Our Internship Program Apart:</b> Work on meaningful projects while receiving mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities that help launch your career.
