<p><strong>Tradesmen International</strong> is immediately hiring experienced<strong> HVAC Technicians</strong> for projects located in or around<strong> Eugene, OR.</strong> This is a first shift opportunity and the <strong>pay rate is $30-$35/hour</strong> based on experience and skill level. <p><strong><u>Job Scope:</u></strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential HVAC systems</li>
<li>Complete residential service calls, scheduled maintenance, and inspections</li>
<li>Troubleshoot electrical circuits, controls, and HVAC components</li>
<li>Repair or replace defective equipment, components, and wiring</li>
<li>Install and adjust thermostats and HVAC controls</li>
<li>Service heat pumps, air conditioners, gas and electric furnaces, ductless mini-splits, boilers, and water heaters</li>
<li>Test refrigerant systems and piping for leaks</li>
<li>Use multimeters, refrigerant gauges, vacuum pumps, recovery machines, and standard HVAC hand tools</li>
<li>Explain repairs, recommendations, and available options to customers</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment</li>
<li>Follow all company safety policies and procedures</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Requirements:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 3 years of residential HVAC service experience</li>
<li>Residential retrofit and service experience</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities</li>
<li>Excellent customer service and communication skills</li>
<li>Honest, dependable, and professional</li>
<li>Self-motivated and able to work independently</li>
<li>Valid driver's license</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50–75 lbs.</li>
<li>Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and on rooftops</li>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain required industry certifications</li>
<li>Must be able to successfully complete required drug screening</li>
<li>Must be able to successfully complete background and DMV/driving record checks</li>
