Come be a part of the excitement at Ryan!<p></p><p><b>Job Summary: </b></p><p>The Principal is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing tax services with their Practice area.</p><p></p><p><b>Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results</b></p><p><b>People:</b></p><ul><li>Works within the Practice to develop new tax planning ideas to deliver to global clients.</li><li>Supervises consulting work delegated to staff and managers.</li><li>Serves as subject matter expert for Practice area throughout Firm and assigned jurisdictions/geographical areas.</li><li>Assists in the general operation and administration of the Practice.</li></ul><p><b>Client:</b></p><ul><li>Develops new client relationships and works with Ryan global management team to expand the Practice to other markets.</li><li>Routinely makes presentations to prospects and clients.</li></ul><p><b>Value:</b></p><ul><li>Develops and executes tax consulting projects.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education and Experience:</b></p><p>Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance required. A minimum of ten to twelve years of experience in Practice specialization. Previous track record of excellent service delivery and working in a team environment. </p><p></p><p><b>Computer Skills:</b></p><p> To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.</p><p></p><p><b>Certificates and Licenses: </b></p><p>Valid driver’s license required. </p><p></p><p><b>Supervisory Responsibilities: </b></p><p>Directly or indirectly supervises employees in the Practice and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firm’s policies and applicable laws.</p><p></p><p><b>Work Environment:</b></p><ul><li>Standard indoor working environment.</li><li>Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.</li><li>Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person and via e-mail and telephone.</li><li>Independent travel requirement: 30 to 50%.</li><li>50+ hour standard workweek requirement.</li></ul><p></p><p><i><span>Equal Opportunity Employer: disability/veteran</span></i></p><p></p>
