<p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.</p>
<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<p>As an <strong>Aviation SME Technical Trainer</strong>, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct material and operational assessments of aviation equipment aboard US Navy Ships </li>
<li>Certify ships in the basic phase of training</li>
<li>Provide training and assessments at the senior technician level (often E8-E9 audience) and ship's wardrooms</li>
<li>Provide training to ship’s company on process improvement recommendations to all levels of the shipboard Chain of Command</li>
<li>Will be assigned to TMIT Blue</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>20 years of shipboard experience as an AB (Handling) or AB (Fuels) </li>
<li>Active Secret Security Clearance</li>
<li>Graduate of ABH or ABF A and C Schools</li>
<li>Requires recent experience conducting technical briefs at all levels of shipboard managers/technicians</li>
<li>Significant experience with aviation material and operational assessments</li>
</ul>
<h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $78,000.00/Yr. - USD $86,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
