<p><strong>Tradesmen International</strong> is immediately hiring experienced <strong>Pipe Welders </strong>for projects located in the <strong>Manhattan, IL area</strong>. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is<strong> $45-65/hour</strong> based on experience plus <strong>$700/week per diem </strong>for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. <ul>
<li><strong><u>Job Scope:</u></strong> </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Perform stick welding on carbon schedule 160 pipe in the 6G position using 6010 for the open root and hot pass and 7018 for the fill and cap</li>
<li>TIG welding will be performed on carbon schedule 160 pipe in the 6G position with an open root and TIG all the way out</li>
<li>Complete super coupons with a 2-inch OD and .625-inch wall thickness, with both welds performed uphill</li>
<li>Plate testing may also be scheduled using 3/8-inch plate with a backing strip in the 2G, 3G, and 4G positions</li>
</ul>
