<h2>Overview</h2> <p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is looking for a qualified Windows Systems Administrator ready to join a Team working for a DoD Agency based in Mechanicsburg, PA. Support includes full responsibility for managing, administering, sustaining, and securing all infrastructure required for development, testing, and production; certifying success of future production enhancements. Included in managing the infrastructure, is the timely notification to customers and end-users of Planned Maintenance and Outage Events</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Production and Development direct support to the Cloud and On-premise Windows infrastructures</li> <li>Reviews, evaluates, and fine-tunes system performance to achieve peak efficiency and reliability for Mission Systems/Applications.</li> <li>Monitors the environment to ensure adequate resources (hardware, software, and through-put) are available to meet customer requirements.</li> <li>Coordinates problem resolution with customers, teammates, and vendors.</li> <li>Evaluates new and existing system software/hardware and recommends changes to improve efficiency and functionality.</li> <li>Provides management with status of projects, problem resolution, and/or other system administration statuses that require upward and outward communication.</li> <li>Implement, monitor, and maintain Cybersecurity compliance by completing vulnerability mitigations, working with the Cybersecurity team</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>DoD Secret Clearance</li> <li>Comptia Security+</li> <li>High School diploma</li> <li>A minimum of four years’ experience as a Windows Administrator (configuring, managing, and maintaining Cloud and On-Premise Windows systems).</li> </ul> <h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $115,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
