<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<p>We are looking for an Assistant Estimator to support our Estimating team. Do you enjoy working on high profile projects in a team environment? Is your accurate estimates and positive partnerships your work passion? Do you take pride in project execution? </p>

<p>Our Assistant Estimators are responsible for multiple processes related to project estimating. In this role, you will assist on larger projects or be the estimator on smaller projects.</p>
<ul>
<li>Initiates and schedules pre-construction kick-off meeting.</li>
<li>Identifies areas of risk and profitability to focus project team decision making.</li>
<li>Drawing/document review and develop bid list and invitation to bid process.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with outside parties (I.e. the design team, etc.) to accomplish client goals.</li>
<li>Building and maintaining positive subcontractor relationships and developing critical relationships within Shawmut.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>2-3+ years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.</li>
<li>Experience with Bluebeam, On-screen Takeoff, Timberline or other estimating software a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with out of the ground, renovation, retail and high end boutiques, hotels, restaurants, luxury homes, and high end corporate tenant interiors a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with projects of various size and scope.</li>

<h2>Salary Range Information</h2>
<p><strong>Boston Base Salary Range</strong>: <strong>$72,000 – $100,000 </strong>The range stated is specific to New England Placement. The range listed depends on many factors, including, but not limited to, years of experience, project size capability (for Construction & Field roles), and internal company equity.</p>
