Years Certification: CCIE – MandatoryWhat You'll Be DoingKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the design and architecture of advanced network solutions, including LAN, WAN, Data Center, Cloud, and Hybrid Cloud environments.</li><li>Develop highly scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing network architectures to meet current and future business requirements.</li><li>Define and establish network technology standards, best practices, architecture principles, and technology roadmaps.</li><li>Evaluate new networking technologies and recommend their adoption based on business and technical requirements.</li><li>Contribute to strategic network initiatives that align with the company's long-term technology and business goals.</li><li>Introduce innovative solutions and approaches to enhance network performance, security, availability, scalability, and operational efficiency.</li><li>Lead and manage network projects from inception through completion.</li><li>Ensure project objectives are achieved, resources are allocated effectively, and project milestones are delivered successfully.</li><li>Collaborate closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and business stakeholders to ensure network solutions align with overall business strategies.</li><li>Serve as a senior-level subject matter expert and provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to network engineering and operations teams.</li><li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with network vendors, service providers, cloud providers, and technology partners.</li><li>Evaluate vendor offerings and technical solutions and provide recommendations aligned with organizational requirements.</li><li>Lead efforts to optimize network performance by analyzing traffic patterns, implementing appropriate QoS strategies, improving network resiliency, and enhancing availability.</li><li>Stay current with emerging networking technologies, industry trends, and technology developments and assess their applicability to the organization.</li><li>Develop and maintain high-level network documentation, including architecture diagrams, HLD/LLD documents, configuration templates, standards, and technical guidelines.</li><li>Perform network capacity planning to accommodate anticipated business growth and evolving technology requirements.</li><li>Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership for network transformation, modernization, migration, and optimization initiatives.</li><li>Lead architecture reviews and ensure network designs comply with established enterprise standards, security requirements, and best practices.</li><li>Act as a senior technical escalation point for complex network architecture, performance, and connectivity issues.</li></ul>Knowledge and Attributes<ul><li>Extensive understanding of advanced networking concepts, protocols, architectures, and services.</li><li>Extensive proficiency in designing, configuring, and managing complex network environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, SD-WAN, and cloud networking technologies.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of advanced network protocols and technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN/EVPN, SD-WAN, QoS, IPv4/IPv6, and advanced security protocols.</li><li>Strong understanding of enterprise LAN, WAN, Data Center, Internet, and Hybrid Cloud architectures.</li><li>Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud networking.</li><li>Strong understanding of network security architecture, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, network segmentation, and secure connectivity.</li><li>Extensive hands-on experience with network monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, and performance management tools.</li><li>Excellent documentation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Extensive proficiency in network administration, configuration, and stakeholders.</li></ul> Academic Qualifications and Certifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Active CCIE certification is mandatory.</li><li>Preferred CCIE specializations include:<ul><li>CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure</li><li>CCIE Service Provider</li><li>CCIE Security</li></ul></li><li>Relevant cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud are preferred.</li><li>Additional networking or security certifications are an advantage.</li></ul>Required Experience<ul><li>Minimum 15–18+ years of experience in the Network and Security domain.</li><li>Extensive experience in network engineering, architecture, and progressively responsible technical leadership roles.</li><li>Extensive experience working in large-scale enterprise networking environments.</li><li>Extensive experience designing and architecting complex LAN and WAN environments.</li><li>Extensive experience with network security and enterprise security architectures.</li><li>Extensive experience with Data Center networking and connectivity.</li><li>Extensive experience with cloud networking, including Azure and/or AWS.</li><li>Extensive experience with SD-WAN and software-defined networking (SDN) concepts.</li><li>Proven experience with network transformation, modernization, migration, and optimization initiatives.</li><li>Proven experience working with network vendors, ISPs, cloud providers, and technology partners.</li><li>Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership and architectural direction to engineering and operations teams.</li></ul>Mandatory Requirements<ul><li>15–18+ years of relevant Network and Security experience.</li><li>Active CCIE certification – Mandatory.</li><li>Strong enterprise network architecture and design experience.</li><li>Expert-level Cisco networking experience.</li><li>Strong
