<p>The Ultra-Pure Water+ division of Ecolab is an engineering company specialized in ultrapure water (UPW) treatment systems.</p><p></p><p>We are looking for an <b>Operation & Maintenance Technician/Engineer – Ultra Pure Water (UPW) Plant</b> to be based in <b>Marin-Epagnier (CH)</b> is reporting to Operation & Maintenance Manager. It also means combining our efforts and talents towards a more sustainable future – together.</p><p></p><p><b>Role Summary</b></p><p>In this role, you will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and data collection for UPW systems. You will play a key role in ensuring system reliability through timely and effective support in a critical manufacturing environment.</p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Support commissioning, start-up and installation of new equipment, upgrades and plant modifications.</li><li>Execute daily field rounds, collecting operational and process data, and reporting anomalies through established procedures.</li><li>Perform daily, preventative and corrective maintenance on water treatment equipment and ancillary systems.</li><li>Monitor plant performance and support process optimization initiatives to ensure compliance with operational and quality targets.</li><li>Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and process-related faults, ensuring timely restoration of plant operations.</li><li>Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records, inspection reports and operational documentation.</li><li>Perform Water quality sampling and field analysis.</li><li>Perform basic calibration, inspection and troubleshooting activities on instrumentation and control systems.</li><li>Utilize and maintain Computerized Maintenance Management System CMMS systems for work order management, maintenance planning, asset history tracking and reporting.</li><li>Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Maintain work areas, workshops, equipment and storage locations in accordance with 5S principles, ensuring high standards of housekeeping, safety and operational efficiency.</li><li>Operate in full compliance with company procedures, environmental regulations, quality requirements and HSE standards, maintaining a strong focus on safety, operational excellence and customer satisfaction.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who We Are Looking For</b></p><ul><li>Technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.</li><li>Experience in operation and maintenance activities within industrial facilities, preferably in water or wastewater treatment plants.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to interpret technical documentation, procedures and drawings.</li><li>Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).</li><li>Basic knowledge of instrumentation, automation and process control systems.</li><li>Strong attention to safety, environmental compliance and quality standards.</li><li>Good organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.</li><li>Positive attitude, flexibility and willingness to learn and develop new skills.</li><li>Commitment to maintaining high housekeeping standards and promoting a 5S culture.</li><li>Readiness for “On call support” for customer sites</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Working Conditions</b></p><ul><li>Availability to work on an 8.30-hour basis per day including minimal mandatory presence 08h30-12h00 / 13h30-17h00, 5 working days a week</li><li>Occasional traveling within EU and CH for trainings, meetings, presentations, coordination and reviews.</li><li>Expected language skills: <b>Good French, minimum B2 level</b>, English B2</li><li>Valid Category B driving license</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we offer:</b></p><ul><li>An interesting and varied job in an exciting and innovative organization operating worldwide</li><li>The possibility to further develop your personal skills and to earn profound project management experience</li><li>Training and professional development opportunities</li><li>24 days of holidays, 6 additional flex days, and possibility of extra holidays</li><li>A competitive salary and insurances for accidents, disability and pension</li></ul><p></p><p>#li-eu</p>
