About This Role
As a Project Engineer, you will join a project team and help manage the procurement, tracking, coordination, and lifecycle of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment.<p><span><b>Responsibilities</b></span></p><ul><li><p>Manage the procurement, tracking, coordination, and lifecycle of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment</p></li><li><p><span><span>Collaborate with the Project Managers in purchasing activities including scoping and take-offs</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Prepare and forward submittals; confirm submittal complies with plans/specs</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Support the development and updating of the project schedule and subcontractor detail schedules</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Play a lead role in the development of project plans</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Monitor and expedite material deliveries ensuring all deliveries conform with the project schedule</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Review change proposals from trade partners and negotiate as appropriate</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Facilitate with the Project Manager and Superintendent in the coordination of drawings</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Draft change orders. Solicit prices from subcontractors and suppliers. Perform scope take-off and estimate costs</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Lead close out of project; includes assembling manuals and other warranties for turnover to owner and preparation final payment documents for subcontractors</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Develop and lead training sessions for your team and trade partners</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Take ownership of document management applications</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><b>Basic Qualifications</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline or relevant work experience</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>2+ years experience in an engineer, project engineer, or a similar role in the construction industry</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and general project administration</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Demonstrated ability reading drawings and specifications</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Computer proficient including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Interest and passion for building and the industry</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds Relationships</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>OSHA 10 certification</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Procore experience</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Primavera P6 experience</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience working for a general contractor</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p>
