We’ve been honored as a National Fortune Best Workplace, a Fortune Best Workplace for Women, Millennials, and Parents, and one of America’s Best Employers by Forbes—along with numerous regional recognitions across our 11 offices nationwide.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Here’s a glimpse into what we offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance.</li> <li>Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)<strong>&nbsp;– </strong>Be an employee-owner!</li> <li>401(K) with Company Match – Receive a company match up to 4% of your eligible pay.</li> <li>Generous Paid Time Off – vacation and sick time, 12 holidays, summer Fridays, and a yearly volunteer day.</li> <li>The Extras – Cell phone, laptop, tuition reimbursement, pet insurance, financial planning services, and more.</li> </ul> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Senior Scheduler</strong> who will be responsible for a comprehensive schedule control system, including day-to-day planning activities and the integration of contractor schedules into the overall project schedule ranging from $40M to $100M++</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Project Preparation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with Project Team to serve as a resource to help develop comprehensive understanding of project strategy and deploy throughout preconstruction</li> <li>Ensure proper set-up of and adherence to established best practices/processes.</li> <li>Verifies that projects are set up in compliance with published guidelines&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner with estimating, project management and other key team members</li> </ul> <p><strong>Project Scheduling</strong></p> <ul> <li>Works with project teams to ensure that the project is set up with a viable schedule, including procurement.</li> <li>Works directly with project teams to troubleshoot schedule challenges and develop recovery plans.</li> <li>Ability to create P6 schedules for projects ranging from $40M to $100M+</li> <li>Use data analytics to report on schedule impacts to executive leadership.</li> <li>Create summary narratives for owner monthly reports.</li> <li>Verifies that teams are inputting issues into the schedule real-time to verify impact to project critical path. </li> <li>Leverages available software to mitigate risks and increase visibility, communication and accountability for all keeping up to date with industry and software advancements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>People Development/Manage Resources</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and develop early in career junior schedulers</li> <li>Coach and fill in gaps for construction operations staff who need scheduling support</li> <li>Oversee work product of 3rd party scheduling firms under contract</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>10-15 years industry experience and at least 5+ years scheduling experience</li> <li>Lean construction experience a plus</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree (relevant to construction is a major plus)</li> <li>Complete understanding of construction principles, practices, procedures, and means</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)&nbsp; - <strong>P6</strong> p<strong>roficiency is required&nbsp;</strong></li> <li>Mist be Miami based with limited business travel providing regional support</li> </ul> <h2>EEO Information</h2> <p>Shawmut prohibits discrimination against any staff member or applicant on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, religion, national origin, marital status, veteran status, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, genetic information, disability, creed, citizenship status, or any other legally protected characteristic.</p> <h2>Salary Range Information</h2> <p><strong>Miami Base Salary Range: $145,000 - $225,000.&nbsp; </strong>The range stated is specific to Miami.&nbsp; Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to years of experience, project size capability (for Construction &amp; Field roles) and internal company equity. </p>
