<p>SSOE is seeking a<strong> Senior Project Manager </strong>to join our <strong>Industrial Facilities Design </strong>team in our <strong>Phoenix (AZ) or Austin (TX) locations. </strong>This person will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of high-performance manufacturing facilities.</p>

<li>Lead multi-discipline projects across all phases, ensuring effective team development, coordination, and performance.</li>
<li>Manage client relationships to exceed expectations and serve as the primary point of contact for project delivery.</li>
<li>Define project scope, develop work plans, allocate resources, and align team capabilities with project needs.</li>
<li>Execute projects within approved budget, scope, and schedule, in accordance with the Project Execution Plan and established procedures.</li>
<li>Oversee technical, cost, and schedule performance ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.</li>
<li>Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and keep leadership informed of emerging issues.</li>
<li>Facilitate change management by aligning with clients on scope, timing, and process for variations.</li>
<li>Coordinate meetings, maintain thorough documentation, and ensure proper communication across all stakeholders.</li>
<li>Approve and issue project documents, monitor progress, and generate client reports as required.</li>
<li>Manage invoicing, review financial reports, expedite receivables, and support cash flow tracking.</li>
<li>Manage contracts for external consultants and services.</li>
<li>Mentor project managers, support project audits, and address feedback and corrective actions.</li>
<li>Assist in developing marketing presentations and represent the firm in new business opportunities. Develop qualification and fee proposals for pursuits.</li>
<li>Travel as needed for coordination, training, or client engagement.</li>

<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<p><strong>Qualifications You’ll Need on Day One:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's or master's degree in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture, or 8 (eight) or more years of experience in the engineering or construction field in lieu of a technical degree. PMP Registration preferred.</li>
<li>At least 10 (ten) years of experience in the design industry, with 5 (five) years as a Project Manager in an engineering or construction organization.</li>
<li>Managing the design of major capital industrial projects within an engineering or architecture consulting firm is preferred.</li>
<li>Advanced working knowledge of contract management, pre-design, pre-construction, renovations, demolition, new construction, building systems/components, technology, and construction administration.</li>
<li>Experience with various disciplines, trades, and systems related to complex industrial facilities, with an emphasis on full project delivery.</li>
<li>Experience in the execution of multi-office projects with remote teams.</li>
<li>Strong people leadership skills, along with building and maintaining client relationships.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of engineering principles and industry standards.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Experience in client-facing roles and business development.</li>
<li>Ability to travel to project locations for short-term visits to client sites.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and passport for potential project-related international travel.</li>
