Responsibilities included but are not limited to all kinds of machining (CNC and manual mill, manual lathe, water jet and 3D printers, etc) while maintaining company safety and quality expectations. These costs are covered by CoolIT and are enacted from your first day.</li></ul> What You Will Do:<ul><li>Review engineering drawings to determine what equipment, material and tools are needed to complete the job.</li></ul><ul><li>If there are any errors or additional clarification is required,- contact person who requested the part</li></ul><ul><li>Request procurement of the necessary materials and tools if needed.</li></ul><ul><li>Manufacture parts using the most appropriate equipment and methods.</li></ul><ul><li>If project should be completed on the CNC mill: create a program, make sure it doesn’t have errors and machine the parts.</li></ul><ul><li>If project should be completed on any other equipment (3D Printers, manual lathe or mill, waterjet etc) operate equipment as needed.</li></ul><ul><li>Check parts to make sure they are made as per engineering drawings and specifications.</li></ul><ul><li>Contact person who requested the part that it is ready for pick up.</li></ul><ul><li>Communicate to project stakeholders on all stages if anything poses a risk to project scope or timeline.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain safe work practices by adhering to company safety policies.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.</li></ul><ul><li>Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong desire to work with custom projects in a fast-paced technology company.</li></ul> Basic Qualifications: <ul><li>Journeymen Machinist or equivalent work experience.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>5 years of work experience with prototypes or R&D projects;</li></ul><ul><li>knowledge of HAAS and Mazak CNC mills/lathe;</li></ul><ul><li>knowledge or experience with 3D printing.</li></ul><ul><li>experience with GibbsCAM is an asset.</li></ul><ul><li>Able to work with tight tolerances.</li></ul><ul><li>A self-motivated individual with a thirst for knowledge.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to prioritize based on the workload and project priorities.</li></ul><ul><li>Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.</li></ul> ABOUT COOLIT, AN ECOLAB COMPANY: Founded in Calgary, Alberta in 2001, CoolIT, An Ecolab Company is the leading Direct Liquid Cooling technology provider for data centers, supercomputers, and desktop computers.
