Java Engineering Lead - Vice President <div><div>Key Responsibilities: </div><div><ul><li>Lead a team of developers in designing, developing and deploying scalable, secure and maintainable applications. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Architect and implement robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA and Spring Cloud. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Drive containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Apply modern DevOps principles with Maven, Gradle, CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native tools. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Collaborate with product owners, business analysts and QA teams to ensure alignment with business goals. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Participate in and facilitate Agile ceremonies (Scrum or Kanban) including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, refinement and backlog grooming. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Review code, mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards and best practices. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis to identify and resolve performance or stability issues. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensure high standards of software quality within team by establishing good practices and habits. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Required Skills and Qualifications: </div><div><ul><li>10+ years of professional software development experience. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proven expertise in Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA and Spring Cloud. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for microservices deployment. </li><li>Strong knowledge of build tools: Maven, Gradle </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Experience working in Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture and design patterns. </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Experience with source control (e.g. Git), CI/CD with LightSpeed Enterprises </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong leadership and team management experience </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Preferred Qualifications: Good to have</div><div><ul><li>Experience with cloud-native platforms (Enterprise Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, KLK stack). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Knowledge of testing tools like Junit, Quantum, Mockito, Karma, Jasmine. </li><li>Strong experience in front-end development using Angular (10+) </li><li>Build responsive, user-centric front-end components using Angular. </li></ul></div></div><ul><li>Multiple years of experience with software engineering best practices (unit testing, automation, design patterns, peer review, etc.)</li><li>Clear understanding of building horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low latency applications</li><li>Multiple years of experience with agile and iterative software delivery</li></ul><ul><li>Exposure to Cloud infrastructure both on-premises and public cloud (i.e., OpenShift, AWS, etc.)</li><li>Exposure to Cloud-native development and Container Orchestration tools (Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)</li><li>Multiple years of experience CI/CD pipelines and using front-end test strategies and frameworks (Cypress, jasmine, karma, selenium etc.)</li><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience</li><li>Exposure to event-driven design and architecture (Kafka, Spark Flink, etc.)</li><li>Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, either on-premise or public cloud (i.e., Tekton, Harness, CircleCI, Cloudbees Jenkins, etc.)</li><li>Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.)</li><li>Exposure to Security, Observability, and Monitoring tools (Grafana Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch,
