<p>This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<p><strong>What you will do</strong></p>
<p>Understand and carry out detailed written and verbal instructions with regard to the operation of various equipment and the production of parts. Ensure safe and proper start-up, operation, tool changes, and shut-down of equipment. Repeatedly lift/move material that is 50+ lbs. with or without assistance from lifting devices. Handle metal parts/material and use hand/power tools. Assembles and forms Amorphous cores. Ensure conformity of parts to ERMCO standards. Follow all ERMCO safety policies and procedures.</p>

<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<p><strong>Necessary Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Understand and follow instructions (spoken and written).</li>
<li>Use iPad or other electronic communication devices</li>
<li>Work in a team environment with open communication and collaboration</li>
<li>Use of organizational skills and attention to detail</li>
<li>Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurements</li>
<li>Demonstrate proper lifting techniques</li>
<li>Grasp, reach, and handle objects, tools, and materials</li>
<li>Use measuring devices such as tap measures, calipers, and micrometers (digital and manual)</li>
<li>Use hand/power tools such as cordless drills, air ratchets, wrenches, pliers, and hammers</li>
<li>Operate overhead hoists and lift assist equipment</li>
<li>Must be able to lift/push 70+ lbs. and pull up to 70+ lbs</li>
<li>Frequent standing and walking</li>
<li>Occasional sitting, stooping, reaching, or kneeling</li>
<li>20/40 vision is required with or without the use of corrective glasses and/or contact lens, as well as normal peripheral vision no less than 70, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus</li>
<li>Must comply with all plant safety policies and procedures and any special department safety rules</li>
<li>Must be able to wear all required PPE including, but not limited to safety toe shoes, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves, weld hood and hearing protection</li>

<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3 Years of Consistent work history</li>
<li>1 year of manufacturing experience</li>
<li>Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with standard computer systems and applications.</li>
