<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<p>We have an immediate opportunity for a <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Project Manager with Life Science experience </strong>. Do you thrive on running a project team by driving the growth and development of project team members? Do you love developing critical relationships with internal and external clients? In this position you will lead a team responsible for numerous construction management related tasks including, project execution, financial management, and delivering projects the Shawmut way while achieving financial control and profit goals for each project.</p>

<ul>
<li><p>In this position you will lead a team responsible for numerous construction management related tasks including, project execution, financial management while achieving financial control and profit goals for each project</p></li>
<li>Take an active role in and guide projects and project teams in each phase including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction services Identify and focus on critical issues related to constructability including associated costs and logistical issues </li>
<li>Ensure timely and accurate completion of all Shawmut financial processes, controls, and reports, i.e., internal budgets, costs to complete, billings, collections, subcontractor payments, change order preparation and resolution, contracts, etc. </li>
<li>Develop, nurture, and maintain ongoing client, architect, subcontractor and industry (landlords, brokers, etc) relationships at the appropriate level reinforcing Shawmut's dedication to continuously addressing their needs and interests.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li><p>10–15 years of construction/project management experience, with at least 5+ years in life sciences (biotech, pharma, medical device, or lab facilities).</p></li>
<li><p>Proven track record managing ground-up, tenant improvement, and renovation projects in occupied or mission-critical life science environments.</p></li>
<li><p>Experience delivering MEP-intensive projects (labs, cleanrooms, GMP manufacturing, vivariums, pilot plants, R&D facilities).</p></li>
<li><p>Demonstrated success managing large $50M+ complex projects </p></li>
<li><p>Deep knowledge of MEPs a plus </p></li>
<li><p>Extensive experience maintaining project budgets and schedules </p></li>
<li><p>Direct responsibility of leading and developing staff </p></li>

<h2>Salary Range Information</h2>
<p><strong>Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $145,000 - $190,000 </strong>The range stated is specific to Los Angeles. Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, project size capability (for Construction & Field roles), and internal company equity.</p>
