<p>Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking a <b>Logistics Associate, Day. </b> In this role you will be responsible for a variety of assigned duties, including order picking and/or packing, order processing and other logistics support roles.</p><p> <br /><b>What’s in it For You:</b></p><ul><li><p>The opportunity to take on some of the world’s most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments</p></li><li><p>The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth</p></li><li><p>The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our best</p></li><li><p>Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and pension plan</p></li></ul><p><br /><b>What You Will Do:</b> </p><ul><li><p>Manually pick full-case orders and stack them onto pallets using a scanner/tablet</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper staging and identification once an order has been completely picked</p></li><li><p>Use various pieces of equipment (manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach truck, and propane lift) to move pallets</p></li><li><p>Verify quantities, quality of items and proper labeling of products that are being shipped</p></li><li><p>Examine all packaging and contents of items for conformance to customer specifications and verify all information against the packing list and SAP</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with other departments such as customer service, production, instant and small pack</p></li><li><p>Shipping box assembly</p></li><li><p>Shipping box induction for packing</p></li><li><p>Shipping label preparation and application</p></li><li><p>Trailer loading of packed boxes and pallets</p></li><li><p>Identify items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicate with Supervisor and/or Lead</p></li><li><p>Maintain the 5S cleanliness of the picking area and pull completed shrink-wrapped orders to the dock for LTL packers.</p></li><li><p>Follow all safety procedures and policies.</p></li><li><p>Follow all warehouse procedures and policies.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Position Details:</b></p><ul><li><p>The <b>main work location</b> for this position will be Mississauga (Tomken Rd./Eglinton Ave.).</p></li><li><p>Periodically, the role will be required to work at the Mississauga (Tranmere Dr./Drew Rd.) location, based on business requirements</p></li><li><p><b>Candidate must reside in</b>: Greater Toronto Area</p></li><li><p><b>Work week and shift</b>: Day Shift, Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm. Periodically, you may be scheduled for the afternoon shift, based on business requirements</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications</b>: </p><ul><li><p>High school diploma or G.E.D. required</p></li><li><p>3 years logistics experience</p></li><li><p>3 years reach lift fork truck experience</p></li><li><p>Fork truck certification or ability to be certified</p></li><li><p>Must be able to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations</p></li><li><p>Must be able to follow both written and verbal directions</p></li><li><p>No immigration sponsorship is available for this role</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Physical Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>Ability to lift and carry 50lbs</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b> </p><ul><li><p>Previous experience in a warehouse environment performing shipping and/or receiving responsibilities</p></li><li><p>Be able to properly utilize a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach lift and/or sit-down forklift</p></li><li><p>A minimal level of analytical ability is required </p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills and teamwork</p></li></ul><p></p><p>This is a new position.</p><p></p><p><b>Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:</b></p><p>$26.44 / hour. This position pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime.</p><p>Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range.
