Our people make us who we are, and we create incredible products and experiences that empower us to THINK OUTSIDE.<div><div>Job Description </div><div>Performs various shipping duties accurately and efficiently to help meet and exceed on-time shipping, shipping accuracy and shipping efficiency goals. </div><div>Duties and Responsibilities</div><div><ul><li>Packs a wide range of products using proper shipping materials and techniques to ensure all items are protected during shipping for both domestic and international shipments </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Identifies orders that require priority shipping and utilizes most appropriate cost effective methods (NDA, Ground, FTL, etc) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Assists with picking orders, stacking product on pallets, wrapping pallets, applying shipping labels, loading trucks, kitting, and pick zone replenishment process. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Communicates with other departments regarding challenges affecting the shipping department, priority shipments, or shipped products </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Processes orders accurately and in a timely manner using shipping software, generating required documentation for the selected shipping method. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Follows forklift and powered pallet jack safety procedures including but not limited to pre trip, proper charging, operating, and warehouse barricading. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Puts and picks pallets from warehouse racking using forklift </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Partner with logistics and other departments on carrier changes, late pick ups, and troubleshooting problems </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Assist other departments with one time shipping needs including ensuring proper documentation is completed including any hazmat declarations </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Assist with truck unloading and storing parts in appropriate locations </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Monitor and document shipping errors </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Create and send Daily Shipping Summary Report </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Follows all company protocols, attendance policies, HR requirements and safety procedures </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintains a safe, clean working environment. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Sends advanced shipping notice to customers who require them, providing necessary information on the pending shipment using EDI, spreadsheets or e-mail. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Schedules pickups when necessary, including full truck and LTL pickups providing all necessary shipping documentation, communicating delivery details to the customer when required and logging relevant information </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Documents current processes and suggests process improvements </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintain and update data and records in shipping software, coordinating with other teams when necessary </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Invoices orders producing all necessary packing slips, shipping labels, package identification labels, and documentation as required by customer, order type, and shipping method. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisor </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Skills & Knowledge</div><div><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED Required </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Basic computer skills – experience with AS400, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, UPS Worldship desired </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Communication skills – ability to communicate and work well with others </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Accuracy-minded and detail-oriented </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Must be able to prioritize workload, work under pressure, and meet deadlines </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Must be able to operate a forklift safely indoors and outdoors </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Previous shipping experience desired </li></ul></div><div>Physical Requirements</div><div>This job requires you to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, reach overhead, perform strong pinch and grip, push-pull up to 100 lbs, and stand/walk up to 10 hours per day. </div><div>Work Environment</div><div>A large percentage of work time is spent in a production warehouse where temperatures range from warm to cool and noise level can be moderate to high. </div><div>Work Schedule</div><div>The Battle Ground, WA location shipping department operates on a 4/10 work schedule Monday – Thursday, with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays or weekends as needed.The pay range for this position in Washington State is $21.01 to $25.71.
