<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Support the Secretary of War for Science and Technology (S&T) Program Protection as it guides and supports modern research and analysis of strategic Critical Areas of Technoloy, Bio-Technology, Directed Energy, Hypersonics, AI, Logistics</li>
<li>Advise top Pentagon leadership on biotechnology issues</li>
<li>Work to evaluate and secure cutting-edge technology essential to the modernization of national strategy in defense.</li>
<li>Represent USD R&E on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in Government-approved conferences and forums in addition to specific USD R&E projects.</li>
<li>Assist, prepare and conduct meetings for current Biotechnology issues.</li>
<li>Conduct biotechnology research analysis.</li>
<li>Develop and coordinate concepts and requirements for the application of current and emerging technologies as they apply to DoD's R&E program.</li>
<li>Assist and prepare presentations and reports to DoW leadership and outside DoW.</li>
<li>Track the department-wide budget for efforts aligning with Biotechnology.</li>
<li>Maintain and update Biotechnology modernization roadmaps, coordinate roadmaps with key stakeholders.</li>
<li>Make recommendations to the development of Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) pertinent to mission needs and technical capabilities.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>7yrs years of experience of engineering, biotechnology, and Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E).</li>
<li>Master’s degree in STEM and minimum of 5-years recent experience in biotechnology or an MBA degree.</li>
<li>Experience with Python, R, Share-point Development.</li>
<li>TS/SCI Clearance Eligibility.</li>
<li>U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance.</li>
<li>Excellent writing, communication and briefing.</li>

<h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $165,000.00/Yr. - USD $185,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
