Role SummaryThe role focuses on building and managing relationships with law firms, Big 4 firms, CA firms, consultants, and other intermediaries to drive referral business for the bank across Capital flows, transaction banking. The candidate will act as a FEMA and capital account specialist, supporting clients on transaction structuring, execution, and banking solutions. In addition, manage a portfolio of clients to Bring product expertise, complex solutioning, multi product, multi deals to the table and solution the same for the client on the Transaction banking front (Both Cash and Trade solutions)Key ResponsibilitiesCiti Commercial Bank (CCB) is a solutions-led business for the demands of mid-sized and emerging corporates.The current opening of the Product Sales Manager is responsible for driving the revenue growth for Citi across the banking products (Cash and Trade) by acquiring new business clients and upselling to existing ones. This role bridges the gap between client needs and product capabilities, working closely with Product and Technical teams. Seeking a high-energy, entrepreneurial individual to drive market adoption and revenue growth for our innovative [Product/Services]. You will own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, and act as the primary voice of the customer to refine our product roadmap. Intermediary & Referral Channel Management<ul><li>Build strong relationships with law firms, Big 4 firms, consultants, and transaction advisors.</li><li>Conduct FEMA and regulatory sessions, roundtables, and client engagements.</li><li>Support intermediaries on FEMA and cross-border banking queries.</li><li>Drive referral-led business opportunities for cash, trade, and capital account products</li><li>Drive seamless execution of capital account flows for existing as well NTB clients across - FDI, ODI, ECB etc. </li><li>Coordinate with internal teams for end-to-end transaction execution and issue resolution.</li></ul>In addition to the above, following will be the added responsibilities:<ul><li>Actively calling on clients in partnership with Relationship Managers to deepen relationships, proactively owning, responding to and anticipating future needs, challenges or risks, in addition to identifying and pursuing new clients aligned with CITI’s value proposition.</li><li>Bring product expertise, complex solutioning, multi product, multi deals to the table and solution the same for the client on the Transaction banking front</li><li>Perform in-depth SOW analysis for clients in portfolio to identify real names with convertible opportunities, where Citi can deepen and increase share of wallet.</li><li>Works with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients’ individual needs</li><li>Develop deep client relationship becoming a trusted advisor and first in mind recall for clients.</li><li>Networks with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities.</li><li>Driving sales for funded and non-funded trade products, including Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and Import/Export finance; Structuring transactions for the client, which will provide benefits to the clientele that he / she is managing</li><li>Cash management solutions including host 2 host integrations, API integrations, know-how of APIs, payments / collections solutions / reconciliation of account receivables / payment gateway / NACH / payment aggregator solutioning across domestic / cross border / Cash Pooling solutions</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies / guidelines at all time</li><li>Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>Minimum 8-10 years of experience, with experience in managing the intermediary strategy for law firms / FEMA engagements / Transaction Banking Sales business</li><li>Experience working in Corporate/Commercial Bank covering clients above $ 50MM to $ 3BN of turnover</li><li>Ability to work effectively in team setting with a go getter mindset</li><li>Ability to coordinate multi-functional teams to provide an exceptional client experience.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (e.g., negotiation, consultative skills, leadership)</li><li>Ability to work under pressure while making sound decisions</li><li>Highly focused, able to rapidly identify key priorities, clearly communicate the priorities</li><li>A proactive approach in looking for ways in strengthening business relationship with clients, delivers a simple, secure, and seamless client experience</li><li>Passion for creating new business opportunities with existing clients and able to demonstrate innovative approaches to meeting clients’ needs.</li><li>Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience we deliver for our clients</li><li>Able to quickly adapt priorities based on the latest data insights</li></ul>Education: <ul><li>Postgraduate (MBA/CA) from a reputable institute</li><li>Bachelor’s/University degree, master’s degree preferred</li></ul>This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
