<p>We're looking for a Generalist/Manager of Human Resources to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a human resource professional to make an impact. The position reports to an HR Manager and is to be based in our office located in McLean, Virginia.</p><p></p><p><i><b>Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:</b></i></p><p>As a Generalist of Human Resources (“HR”), you will be responsible for delivering core HR services, including; strategic business planning and partnering, staffing, employee relations, coaching and organizational development. </p><ul><li><p>Overall</p><ul><li><p>Partner with the business to identify, develop and drive key initiatives such as leadership development, talent/performance management, change management, workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee and career development, performance management, rewards and recognition, and coaching (employee and manager)</p></li><li><p>Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers and colleagues inside and outside of HR to innovate, enhance, align and drive the effectiveness of HR initiatives</p></li><li><p>Recommend, amend and drive improvement to human resources systems, policies and processes by continuing to stay abreast of the marketplace to identify and leverage best practices / trends to influence the business and HR agenda</p></li><li><p>Possesses personal and professional creditability to serve as a coach and advisor to employees and members of management</p></li><li><p>Identifies and helps solve employee performance issues</p></li><li><p>Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests</p></li><li><p>Drive employee engagement programs and initiatives</p></li></ul></li></ul><p></p><ul><li><p>Learning and Development</p><ul><li><p>Drive Learning and Development initiatives and programs effectively</p></li><li><p>Partner with the Training and Development team to identify and coordinate the training needs of employees to facilitate the growth and development of Clark’s internal talent.</p></li></ul></li></ul><p></p><ul><li><p>Workforce Planning & Staffing</p><ul><li><p>Provide candid and constructive feedback to business leaders about talent moves, gaps, promotions and growth opportunities</p></li><li><p>Partner with the business to understand and make recommendations on current and future staffing needs</p></li><li><p>Partner with Talent Acquisition team to drive fulfillment of needs</p></li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p><i><b>Skills Desired/Requirements:</b></i></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of people management / HR experience</p></li><li><p>Prior experience including organizational development, HR administration and business support required</p></li><li><p>Willingness to do the hands-on work</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of professional best practices and industry trends as they apply to all HR related functions and responsibilities required</p></li><li><p>Knowledge and understanding of the technical areas of Human Resources</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills</p></li><li><p>At least intermediate-level computer skills with Microsoft business applications software</p></li><li><p>Strong mathematical aptitude and analysis skills for researching, analyzing, developing, and leading in the implementation of Human Resources related programs and recommendations</p></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in dealing proactively with all levels of internal and external management, vendor, or agency personnel, including a high degree of sensitivity and change management abilities to intercultural personnel and corporate dynamics</p></li><li><p>HR Certified preferred</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i>Clark offers a total compensation package that includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, retirement/401k, and Company Contribution plan. For this role the base salary range is $60,000 - $100,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. </i></p>
