The position’s primary focus is to provide outstanding administrative support, while representing the Firm in a professional manner, maintaining a positive attitude and functioning as a team player. <br>Successful Ryan team members embrace and live Ryan’s values of Pursue Excellence, Wired to Win, Generosity Matters, Build Trust and Integrity Always and will embody and demonstrate accountability.<p><b>Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results</b></p><p></p><p><b>People:</b></p><ul><li>Maintains communications (e-mail, written, phone, and fax) for team members.</li><li>Makes travel arrangements for team members as needed.</li><li>Handles and safeguards confidential information and sensitive material.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Client:</b></p><ul><li>Maintains calendar appointments and deadlines to ensure proper accountability and client deadlines are observed.</li><li>Answers telephone calls and takes accurate and concise messages, escalating appropriately.</li><li>Creates files, as needed, for clients and projects utilizing Microsoft® Excel and Access.</li><li>Utilizes strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Value:</b></p><ul><li>Tracks and reports time and expenses in detail for self and Manager as needed.</li><li>Organizes and prioritizes multiple tasks and completes them under time constraints.</li><li>Assists with other projects as needed.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education and Experience:</b></p><p>Post-secondary education required with one to two years related administrative support experience. Saskatoon Business College and Saskatchewan Polytechnic credentials considered an asset.</p><p></p><p><b>Computer Skills: </b></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.</p><p></p><p><b>Certificates and Licenses: </b></p><p>Valid driver’s license required. </p><p></p><p><b>Supervisory Responsibilities: </b></p><p>This position has no supervisory responsibilities.</p><p></p><p><b>Work Environment:</b></p><ul><li>Standard indoor working environment.</li><li>Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.</li><li>Occasional long periods of standing while copying.</li><li>Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm; interface with clients and external vendors as necessary.</li><li>Independent travel requirement: 0 to 10%.</li></ul><p></p><p><i><span>Equal Opportunity Employer: disability/veteran</span></i></p>
