This position ensures the availability, security, performance, and reliability of Linux-based systems supporting critical business applications, manufacturing systems, databases, and infrastructure services. The role partners closely with application, database, network, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, highly available, and operationally efficient technology solutions through automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.</p><p>This is a hybrid role based out of our Oak Park Heights, MN office location.</p><p></p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities:</b></p><p><b>Infrastructure Operations & Support</b></p><ul><li><p>Administer, maintain, and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers across physical, virtual, cloud, and hybrid environments.</p></li><li><p>Perform system installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.</p></li><li><p>Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, access controls, file systems, storage, and operating system services.</p></li><li><p>Monitor system health, logs, capacity, performance, and availability to proactively identify and resolve issues.</p></li><li><p>Support day-to-day operational activities and maintain service levels for critical business and manufacturing systems.</p></li><li><p>Participate in on-call support, incident response, outage recovery, major incident management, and root cause analysis activities.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Security & Compliance</b></p><ul><li><p>Implement and maintain operating system security controls, configuration hardening standards, and access management processes.</p></li><li><p>Support vulnerability remediation, operating system patching, and compliance initiatives in accordance with enterprise standards.</p></li><li><p>Partner with cybersecurity teams to reduce risk and maintain compliance across Linux platforms.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Automation & Platform Engineering</b></p><ul><li><p>Develop and maintain automation solutions utilizing Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Ansible, Bash, Python, and other automation technologies.</p></li><li><p>Design and support automated workflows for server provisioning, patching, configuration management, compliance validation, and operational support activities.</p></li><li><p>Support infrastructure-as-code and configuration management practices to improve operational consistency and efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Utilize Red Hat Satellite and Ansible Automation Platform to support operating system lifecycle management, patching, configuration compliance, and software deployment.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Platform Lifecycle Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Support server provisioning, upgrades, migrations, decommissioning, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery testing activities.</p></li><li><p>Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, build standards, change records, and troubleshooting guides.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to platform modernization initiatives involving cloud, container, and hybrid infrastructure technologies.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Container & Cloud Technologies</b></p><ul><li><p>Support containerized and cloud-native technologies including OpenShift, Podman, Docker, and Kubernetes platforms.</p></li><li><p>Assist with the deployment and support of Linux workloads running in Azure and hybrid cloud environments.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Collaboration & Project Delivery</b></p><ul><li><p>Collaborate with application, database, infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity teams to troubleshoot complex issues and support project delivery.</p></li><li><p>Participate in technology implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and operational improvement initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Support ITIL processes including incident, problem, change, and configuration management.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications and Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.</p></li><li><p>Minimum three (3) years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux or comparable Linux operating systems in an enterprise environment.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Red Hat technologies (e.g. RPM, Yum/DNF, SELinux, firewalld, LVM, sudo, cron, Red Hat Satellite).</p></li><li><p>Experience with automation and scripting technologies including Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Ansible, Bash, Python, and Git-based automation workflows.</p></li><li><p>Experience supporting enterprise monitoring, backup, recovery, and virtualization platforms.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of security best practices, patching, vulnerability remediation, access management, and least-privilege principles.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.</p></li></ul><p></p></div><p style="text-align:left !important"></p><p style="text-align:left !important"><b>PAY RANGE:</b></p>$78,824.00 - $122,176.00&#xa;&#xa;<p><b>CULTURE AND BENEFITS:</b></p><p>At Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
