<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<p>As an Electronic Field Engineer II, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, installation, calibration, repair, and modification of equipment and systems. </li>
<li>Solve technical problems in accordance with prescribed specifications. </li>
<li>Conduct laboratory and shipboard work. </li>
<li>Conduct submarine ship checks to determine the necessary efforts to seamlessly install systems onboard a platform. </li>
<li>Draft Memorandums of Agreement, Work Authorization Forms, System Tag outs and Controlled work packages. </li>
<li>Provide technical input and review for developing new Temporary Alterations (TempAlts), Operational Alterations (OpAlts) and Ship Alterations (ShipAlts). </li>
<li>Author detailed reports. </li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>Ability to obtain a secret clearance</li>
<li>U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance</li>
<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>At least 6+ years of experience working with sonar systems as a sonar technician in the Navy</li>

<h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $65,000.00/Yr. - USD $75,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
