<h2>Overview</h2>
<p>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a <strong>Ship Manager Representative</strong> with<strong> 10 years of experience</strong> and a <strong>secret clearance</strong> to support The US Navy Code 226 Ship Modernization Program in Pearl Harbor, HI</p>
<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<p>As a <strong>Ship Manager Representative</strong>, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the planning and execution of ship modernization projects.</li>
<li>Ensure that all modernization efforts are completed on schedule and within budget.</li>
<li>Provide technical guidance and expertise during the modernization process.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Navy standards and specifications.</li>
<li>Act as the primary point of contact between the Navy and contractors/vendors.</li>
<li>Facilitate communication and collaboration among various stakeholders, including engineering teams, logistics personnel, and ship crews.</li>
<li>Monitor modernization activities to ensure quality and safety standards are met.</li>
<li>Conduct inspections and evaluations of completed work.</li>
<li>Maintain thorough documentation of all modernization activities and changes made to the ship.</li>
<li>Prepare reports on project status, challenges, and accomplishments for higher management and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Oversee the financial aspects of modernization projects, including cost estimates, budgets, and expenditure tracking.</li>
<li>Provide training to ship’s crew on new systems and equipment that have been installed or modernized.</li>
<li>Offer continued support and troubleshooting after modernization is complete.</li>

<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma</li>
<li>Active DoD Secret Clearance</li>
<li>U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance </li>
<li>10 years of experience in the following areas:
<ul>
<li>Engineering, naval architecture, or a related field.</li>
<li>Ship systems, maintenance, and modernization.</li>
<li>Excellent project management and communication skills.</li>
<li>Navy standards and operational requirements.</li>

<h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $85,000.00/Yr. - USD $103,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
