VP, Corporate Controller - United States, Canada, Mexico (Remote)

<div><div><p><b>YOU WILL:</b></p><p><b>Financial Reporting:</b></p><ul><li>Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the company and its foreign subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards (GAAP).</li><li>Monitor the accuracy of financial data and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded</li><li>Analyze financial data for patterns, trends, and anomalies, and recommend corrective action as necessary</li></ul><p><b>Financial Governance:  </b></p><ul><li>Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations</li><li>Supervise the preparation and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports</li><li>Provide financial guidance and support to department heads, and ensure that all financial decisions are in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals</li><li>Coordinate external audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions as needed</li><li>Ensure continued communication with external third-party providers in different countries </li></ul><p><b>Treasury and Cash Management: </b></p><ul><li>Drive short term and long term cash-flow forecast and cash management initiatives</li><li>Organize a centralized treasury management process </li></ul><p><b>Team Leadership:</b></p><ul><li>Supervise and mentor an international diverse team of finance professionals </li><li>Develop a shared services approach to reduce closing timing </li><li>Cross-functional Collaboration: </li><li>Work closely with other departments, including operations, legal, and HR, to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives<br /> </li></ul><p><b>REQUIREMENTS:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field</li><li>10&#43; years of experience in accounting and finance preferred</li><li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred</li><li>Advanced knowledge of GAAP and federal and state tax laws</li><li>Proven experience in managing financial operations for international subsidiaries in a global organization</li><li>Experience successfully managing a global shared services accounting team</li><li>Experience in leading and managing remote teams </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Experience with Workday Finance module preferred</li><li>Professional services industry expertise (particularly HR and staffing services) is a plus </li></ul></div></div>
