<p><strong>Job Summary </strong></p>
<p>This role is responsible for expertly winding coils used in one-phase and three-phase dry type transformers. This hands-on role requires precision, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. You’ll contribute directly to ERMCO’s mission by ensuring each unit meets our rigorous standards and reflects our core values. </p>

<ul>
<li>Understand and carry out detailed written and verbal instructions with regards to the operation of winding coils.</li>
<li>Ensure safe and proper start-up, operation, and shutdown of equipment. </li>
<li>Repeatedly lift/move material that is 50+ lbs. with or without assistance from lifting devices.</li>
<li>Handle material, use hand/power tools, use a torch during soldering operations.</li>
<li>Ensure conformity of coils to ERMCO standards.</li>
<li>Follow all ERMCO safety policies and procedures. </li>

<li>Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed written and verbal instructions effectively </li>
</ul>

<li>Proficiency in using iPads and other electronic communication devices </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with an emphasis on open communication </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Competence in basic math functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge and application of proper lifting techniques </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Manual dexterity to grasp, reach, and handle diverse tools, materials, and components </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers (both digital and manual) </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Proficiency with hand and power tools including cordless drills, air ratchets, wrenches, pliers, and hammers </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ability to operate overhead hoists and lift-assist equipment safely </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Physical capability to lift/push over 50 lbs. and pull up to 75 lbs. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ability to stand and walk frequently, with occasional sitting, stooping, reaching, or kneeling </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Visual acuity of 20/40 (with or without corrective lenses), normal peripheral vision at least 70 degrees, depth perception, and focus adjustment </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Adherence to all plant safety policies, procedures, and department-specific safety rules </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety toe shoes, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, weld hood, and hearing protection </li>
