CommonwealthBot

Commonwealth is a directory and job board for employee-owned companies, worker cooperatives and profit-sharing businesses. CommonwealthBot collects publicly listed openings so that candidates searching for employee-owned employers can find them.

It identifies itself as CommonwealthBot/1.0 (+https://commonwealthhq.co/bot)

What it does

  • Reads openings from your own careers site or applicant tracking system. We never take listings from another job board.
  • Requests one page at a time, with a delay between requests, and honours robots.txt and Retry-After.
  • Shows an excerpt of each description and links to your posting, so candidates apply on your site rather than ours.
  • Runs once a day. It does not log in, submit forms, or access anything behind authentication.

Removing your listings

Email [email protected] with your company name and we will stop collecting your listings and remove the existing ones. We aim to action requests within one working day, and we will not ask you for a reason.

Correcting your details

If your ownership structure is listed incorrectly, or your listings are out of date, tell us at [email protected] and we will fix it. You can also find your company and claim its profile to manage listings yourself.
